SAAS MARKETING MANAGER AT FLUIDITY SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS (May 2023 - Current)

As the Marketing Manager at Fluidity Software Solutions, I lead all marketing activities for both the parent brand and our wellbeing management platform, Xono, in the UK and South Africa. My role involves developing and executing go-to-market strategies, identifying target markets and overseeing multi-channel campaigns. I closely monitor campaign performance, adjust strategies as needed and create compelling content aligned with our brand voice. Collaborating with sales, I drive lead generation efforts and ensure seamless lead handoff. Additionally, I work with product teams to launch new initiatives and stay informed about market trends through research and analytics. Overall, I drive results through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and effective budget management. 

Reason for leaving: My reason for wanting to leave my current position is due to the lengthy decision-making processes and the team's struggle to agree on the best approaches. This often results in marketing efforts being repeated, leading to minimal progress and a lack of efficiency. I flourish in fast-paced environments where decisions are made swiftly and teams can quickly adapt and implement effective strategies. I am looking for an opportunity where I can contribute to a dynamic, forward-moving organisation that values agility and rapid progress. 

MARKETING PROGRAM MANAGER AT AXIZ (March 2019 - April 2023)

During my time at Axiz, I orchestrated marketing programs to boost brand visibility, generate demand and align with sales objectives. Collaborating closely with product managers and sales teams, I crafted targeted campaigns tailored to specific customer segments. I managed marketing budgets, tracked ROI and fostered relationships with vendor partners to secure co-op funds and promotional opportunities. Overseeing diverse marketing activities like events, webinars and social media, I ensured consistent branding and messaging. Additionally, I analyzed market trends and customer data to refine strategies, equipped sales teams with necessary support and managed distribution of marketing materials. My experience spanned managing renowned brands like Cisco, Microsoft CSP, Veeam, IBM, RedHat, HPI, Intel, Vmware, Trellix, Infoblox, Forcepoint, Solarwinds, NetTrace. 

Reason for leaving: I was headhunted by Fluidity Software Solutions for an exciting new opportunity to be the marketing lead and focus solely on SaaS Marketing, which is a passion of mine. 

MARKETING SPECIALIST AT BCX (October 2012 - February 2019)

During my time at BCX, I conducted thorough market research to discern consumer needs, preferences and trends. Implementing innovative ideas, I spearheaded successful marketing campaigns that amplified brand visibility and bolstered sales. My role encompassed contributing to both outbound and inbound marketing efforts, utilizing expertise in content development, advertising and event planning. I liaised with vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns seamlessly. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I played a pivotal role in building brand awareness and fostering customer engagement. I strategically planned and executed targeted marketing initiatives across diverse channels, including social media and email. Throughout, I fulfilled various responsibilities within the overarching marketing plan with diligence and adaptability. 

Reason for leaving: I was headhunted by Axiz for a more senior marketing position, offering the opportunity to take ownership of several major brands. This role aligned with my career goals and allowed me to leverage my expertise on a larger scale, contributing to the growth and success of high-profile brands. 

AFTER MARKET SALES AND SERVICES QUOTING CLERK AT HALFWAY TOYOTA (February 2011 - September 2012)

During my time at Halfway Toyota, I served as an aftermarket sales and services quoting clerk, where I played a key role in facilitating customer transactions and inquiries. Responsible for providing accurate quotes for aftermarket products and services, I ensured a seamless experience for customers seeking additional enhancements for their vehicles. I collaborated closely with both customers and internal teams to address inquiries promptly and efficiently. My role involved meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills to meet customer needs and expectations. 

Reason for leaving: I was headhunted by BCX for an exciting opportunity as a Marketing Specialist. This role presented new challenges and growth potential, which aligned well with my career aspirations, allowing me to further develop my marketing expertise.
