Mzamo Ntanjana

I am currently working at Emavundleni Research centre as a Data Administrator. I have worked in various clinical trials with different Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems in my time here. I therefore have extensive experience in the research environment.

As I worked in critical clinical trials, it has been very important for me to accurately capture data from source documents. I am very comfortable with new EDC systems and learn quite fast. I am familiar with iMedidata, TrialMaster, Redcap,Proviva to mention just a few.  I work well in a team as well as under pressure. I have assisted the clinicians in my team to address data quires and have liaised with the data management teams in the protocols that I have worked with.

In addition to my undergraduate Human Resources diploma, I have completed a short course in Project Management. This has helped me develop as a professional and has afforded me a ‘bigger picture’ view on things and the organizational skills that I believe will be valuable to your team. The course has also equipped me with valuable computer skills that I continue to apply in my current position. 

I have also completed a course in Professional Communication and Office Management, and this has added to the administrative skills that I possess. In my current position I also stand in as a receptionist when the receptionist is not available. 

I hold a current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate and I understand the value of GCP and the role it plays in protecting participants’ safety and producing credible data. I was part of the DAIDS Applied Research Training Learning program in 2019 that further emphasized the importance of GCP. 

I am currently looking for a working environment that will challenge me a bit more and will be grateful for the opportunity to grow that I believe I will get at this position
