   SENIOR GRAPHICS DESIGN/ PROJECT MANAGER/PRODUCTION MANAGER
   22 YEARS EXPERIENCE
2. I started off working in 1997 for a signup signage company, based in Johannesburg CBD
   where I began working with all prototypes of Vinyl’s which are used all over the African
   continent and around the world, such as 3M, Avery, Graphitic etc. Went on as far as
   learning the product and applying on different surfaces for example, Chromadek boards,
   ABS, Corex, Perspex and PVC Banner materials which is also used all over the world. I
   worked for a Signup Signage company until 2001, as there were more opportunities and companies which offered me the
   opportunity to grow.
   I then proceeded to work for a company which is known in South Africa as Caxton’s Paper, as a type of setter and layout designer, in
   order to gain experience in the media industry. I worked for Caxton’s, based in the East Rand, Bedfordview, for round about two (2)
   years. I applied then for a position in the South of Johannesburg.
   Signkor CC was looking for a qualified Graphics Designer, where my duties were designing and a very close involvement in the
   project for Standard Bank’s new look and to meet with site managers with my own crew of qualified Rigging managers, do site.
   checks including photography. I was responsible for the photographing of buildings where Standard Bank’s new branding was.
   superimposed onto the building or Pylons, Billboards, whereby I was involved with the designing and doing the site check artwork to
   scale and presenting it to our clients, of Standard Bank, for approval. Once approved my drawings went to the factory for
   manufacturing. I worked for Signkor CC from 2002 until 2007.
   I was approached by the Human Resources department of Claude Neon Manufacturers, based in Langlagter, Main Reef Road,
   Johannesburg. They were looking for a Designer who will run with the project in the art studio for Standard Bank as Claude Neon
   were one of the companies chosen to run with the project. After running with the project 5 years at Signkor, Claude Neon offered
   me a package I couldn’t refuse and through that, I also gained so much knowledge and experience working for Claude Neon
   Manufacturers. I then got promoted to the vinyl and printing art department and performed as the manager of said department. I
   had eight (8) staff assigned to me, under my instructions and production follow for Standard Bank, ABSA, and Casino Signage such as
   Gold Reef City Casino, Emperors Palace, Silver star Casino and Monte Casino Fourways, Sandton. I worked for Claude Neon
   Manufacturers CC from 2008 until 2016. Sadly, Claude Neon got liquidated in the year of 2016.
   I then applied for a position at African Neon CC, in Midrand and was one of the 4 designers doing designs for clients such as the
   petroleum companies, like Caltex, KLK and Sasol.
   City Lodge, Dis-chem and Woolworths were clients I dealt with on a regular basis, around the country. I then got promoted to
   Production Manager of Africa Neon. I had the responsibility of getting production out. I worked for African Neon CC from 2009 until
   2019. Because of Covid, I got retrenched.
   Currently, I am working for FN Diff and Gearbox repairs as HR/Admin Manager and the Marketing side of FN Diff and Gearbox
   situated in Pretoria.
   I am passionate about my field of work, and I am driven and ambitious. I am also an excellent leader. I perform very well under pressure.
    

I've worked closely with companies such as Claude Neon - Projects - Standard bank, ABSA, CALTEX, all Casinos around Gauteng. Signkor Pty LTD - Projects - Standard bank in a Box, Project CITY LODGE NEW TOWN completed the external signage and fire signage. I was approached by the Human Resources department of Claude Neon Manufacturers, based in Langlagter, Main Reef Road,

I was given the opportunity to study at a design school in 1996 and was put in to my first company after a 2-year course.

Have 24 years' experience in the signage industry.
