I am a 25 year old Mechanical Engineering graduate from Durban University of Technology with four years’ experience in HVAC-R industry. As a Junior Technician in Training my roles are:
 Design and maintenance of HVAC-R systems and components
 Routine maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
 CAD designs
 Report writing on findings and maintenance reports
 Heat load calculations and general design
 Tool inventory
 General house keeping
Major Projects
National Bioproduct Institute
 Controller replacement for three (-25°) freezer rooms. This was due to ongoing alarms and system malfunction. This was done for system optimization and easier control.
SANBS
 Freezer room installation (-30°C Vaal PC), the system was designed to store plasma.
 Two cold room installation (4°C Vaal PC), systems were designed to keep blood specimen.
 Cold room upgrade (replacing refrigeration system & control), system had control problems and malfunctioning (not keeping temperature)
