I managed office operations for five GladAfrica Group branches nationally, including the office's Drivers, General Workers, Securities, Logistics Officer, and IT Department, all of whom reported to me as an Operations/Facilities Manager. Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to manage the head office and branches, including office/buildings maintenance, office lease agreements, service level agreements, occupational health and safety, suppliers registrations on database, risk management/analysis, quality management system, fixed assets management, conducting internal audits on facilities, and liaising with ex-employees were some of my main responsibilities as an Operations/Facilities Manager.
As an Operations/Facilities Manager, I have over five years of expertise. At The State University of New Jersey, I am pursuing a Supply Chain Management Specialization. I have a Monash University certificate in Facilities Management; a South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) certificate in Quality Management Systems Transition Auditing - SANS 9001:2015 Based on ISO 19011 & 17021; and a Legislative Compliance Specialists certificate in Health and Safety Representative and Legal Liability (LCS).
My knowledge is backed up by a B Tech in Internal Auditing from Tshwane University of Technology, where I majored in Internal Auditing and Financial Accounting. I am computer literate and have a thorough understanding of all Microsoft products as well as other financial tools. My knowledge and experience as a Bookkeeper, Cashbook/Debtors/Creditors Administrator, Accountant, and Analyst attest to my depth of knowledge and experience. I have strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities that I have developed throughout the course of my career.
