Portia Sandiswa Magazi is a positive, self-motivated individual with extensive knowledge and experience in the finance industry. Portia Sandiswa Magazi was the Accounts Payable Accountant at the South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) and was responsible for weekly forex and local payments, weekly accounts reconciliations, creating purchase orders, monthly reporting and year end reporting ,  leasing with service providers and   handling half year and year end  audit queries. Prior to joining SANRAL Portia Sandiswa Magazi was a Project Bookkeeper at Bidvest Facilities Management and was responsible to ensure accurate expense and cost center allocations on a monthly basis. Oversee contracts, ensure that revenue and cost have been incurred the month and it is in line with the Budget Tendered amounts (budget management), Assist with month end journals, prepare monthly WIP and GRIR recons, accurate allocation of expenses, assist the Financial Manager with monthly flash forecasting and Actual    reporting, and building good internal and external relationships.Previously Portia Sandiswa Magazi was a bookkeeper for the same company Bidvest Facilities Management and was responsible for Treasury transfers and call account transfers, Intercompany loans, intercompany transfers and intercompany confirmation, Post Journals Clearing-Bank suspense account, Prepare Finance Ad hoc reports, analysing Income statement and Balance sheet Analyses making sure all entries are in before period. keeping up with accounting principles, legislation and banking requirements.
