I am a social worker in private practice, I provide counselling on various psychosocial issues including relationship and marital counselling, parental guidance, stress and conflict management, medication, coaching, trauma interventions, I do onsite and offsite counselling, and I facilitate training interventions on various wellness topics.

Experience

I have worked for Child Welfare in Bloemfontein for 2 years, I then worked for Free State Department of Education as an Assistant Director and Deputy Director: Employee Health and Wellness from February 2012 to February 2015, I worked as a Clinical Social Worker from March 2015 to date, I have more than 14yrs of experience in the wellness, having services both the public and private sector, as a Social Worker in Private Practice I have service M-Care Optima Sub-acute Hospital between 2018 and 2019, and Mediclinic Hospital as a trauma counsellor from May 2018 to October 2024

Education

I qualified as a Social Worker in 1993 at North-West University, the 4yr degree is equivalent to honours degree in Social Work, I acquired a certificate on Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) from the University of Pretoria in 2012, I am a Certified Life Coach and NLP Practitioner which were acquired in September and November 2024 respectively, I continue to attend continuous professional development training to keep up to date and relevant in the fast changing wellness environment.
