About Minenhle Sithole:
I have worked in the finance/accounting space for more than 6years and I have gained an understanding of this field. During this time I have developed strong organisational skills and I have become proficient in various software programs. The below included:
- Recording transactions in journals and posting them to the general ledger-accounts. Then preparing the trial balance to internally audit whether our total debits equal our total credits.
- Doing monthly revenue reconciliations which gave the company a picture of their financial position.
- General reconciliations which is a process where we compared two sets of records to check that the figures are correct and in agreement.
- Bank reconciliations where we compared the companie's bank statement to the companie's records, ensuring that all transactions have been accounted for.
- Producing adhoc reports as and when needed, and performing other tasks when requested to do so my the management.
In addition to my technical abilities I also bring excellent communication and problem solving skills to the table. My ability to think critically and quickly has allowed me to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. I am also a fast learner and I am eager to learn more hence I am confident that these qualities make me an ideal candidate for any finane interediate position.
