Michelle Namachemo

As a civil engineering graduate, I am eager to apply my problem-solving skills to promote environmental sustainability. With a curiosity that drives my pursuit of knowledge, I am constantly seeking new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.

I have had internships in engineering consulting on projects that included waste-water treatment facilities, roads and building construction. The consulting internship included various aspects of a project life-cycle and hands-on experiences with relevant software. 

I also have experience in lab and research assistance in which I set up and carried out analytical tests to categorise construction demolition waste for research regarding the circularity of concrete and its use in 3D printing. In this role, I also carried out tests to obtain the optimal 3D printable mix for a specific accelerator.

I have BEng Civil degree attained from Stellenbosch University.
