I am currently the Office Manager for Architects, where I have grown my career over the past years. I’ve learned that no two days are the same in any industry, so I understand how to manage my time effectively. I also learned in the process that we needed to keep better track and stay connected. I have since helped develop a more detailed process including developing a system to make sure documents are electronically filed, approved, tracking can be done and stored for long term, so gaps are eliminated. I have also taken the travelling process from manual working ways to a digital platform, saving money as wrong bookings are eliminated, more productivity is produced as less time is spent on the manual processing and besides that tracking can be done, better budgets can be presented with current figures.

Even while managing a team of ten, I found the time to study and put into practice what I was learning about what it truly means to be a professional assistant. This course has not only given me the confidence in what I do every day, but it also lets me know I can bring my skill set to assist and contribute to the company if given the opportunity.

I am meticulous about organisation and keep records of all processes to ensure I am always transparent and accountable. I am efficient, vigilant and approachable and am always striving for more innovative ways of doing my job and contributing to overall company efficiencies. I’m a detailed Assistant, well-known for pushing limits and getting things done, and having amazing energy to handle any tasks, and a turnkey solutions provider who consistently earns the confidence and praise of clients and peers alike through outstanding service and operational excellence.
