  • I was promoted to various leadership roles during my time in Uganda such as District Leader and Zone Leader where I oversaw groups of 8 and 16 missionaries
  • Experienced constant rejection, physical hardships and mental testing as the conditions were extremely poor in East Africa and contact with our families was limited to only 2 times per year
  • I learned about people, cultures, other languages, business, the selling process and how to be confident in my interactions with complete strangers and how to forge relationships out of nothing
  • I learned how to speak in front of hundreds of people, give training, be an extrovert and an analytical communicator
