I work at the Dept of employment and labour as a safety inspector I have 17 years of service with the department working in all the sections of the office in order to prime safety at the workplaces for employer's and employees.My daily duties are conducting inspections , investigations and information dissemination to stake holders .We promote safe and sound work environment for all in terms of machinery regulations and environment workplaces regulations we ensure the equipmens  at the workplaces are regularly serviced and maintained in a proper way by a way of record keeping of such service.Ensure that proper PPE is given free of charge to the employees and  record to that is kept on file also ensures that registration with compensation for occupational injuries and diseases Act is done and assist the employer with compilation of return of earnings for submission is done on time to avoid penalty and interests

Occupational health and safety inspector is an inspector of the Department of Employment and Labour that enforces labour legislations at all companies that have employees in a way of conducting inspections , investigations and giving briefing sessions to the stake holders .I assist health and safety representatives of the companies to comply fully with OHS Act and it's regulations by taking them through the process and the development of the safety policies of their companies and ensures that the implementation is done properly too.

I did National diploma is Safety management and BTech in Safety management too .From the employer I have gained more than 17 years of technical experience that is so powerful and has given me a courage and confidence to execute my duties without fear or favour at all material times.
