I consider myself an enthusiastic person who is passionate about my work and I strive to live this passion.

Good interpersonal relationships are extremely important to me. I get along with any type of person and am a good listener, level-headed and patient. I have a passion for the arts and people. I resonate with children and young people and I dream of one day being involved in a profession where I can make a difference in people's lives.

I started working at Forum Films in 2019 as a Production Assistant where I did administrative tasks, dealt with acting agencies, negotiated on behalf of producers and assisted producers with reports and payments. 

I also produced a music video for Appel and two promotional videos for In Afrikaans. 

In 2020 I moved to the gear room where I was able to get more hands on training on equipment. My duties were as follows: 

• Updating assets register
• Compilation of booking forms and introduced a system for movement of gear
• Monthly ordering of stock
• Reconciliation of monthly credit card statement
• Erecting and taking down sets for productions
• Purchase of equipment
• Managing movement of gear for repairs
• Set-up of livestreams
• In studio video and voice recordings
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting
• Working under pressure to assure that tasks are met within a tight deadline
• Video editing

In 2021 I was promoted to a video editor where I conducted in studio video and voice recordings, video editing, voice over editing and reconciliation of the company's monthly credit card statement and EFT payments. I directed and edited a children's show. 

In 2022 I moved to Solidarity where I performed Journalist duties such as writing stories and articles, writing video scripts, filming and editing and conducting interviews for content. 

I completed my Bachelors of Film Arts degree in 2018 followed by a Special effects makeup certificate in 2020 and a beginner to pro makeup course in 2021. In 2022 I completed the following online continues learning courses: 

• POPI-Act certificate
• The art of communication Certificate
• The Employment Equity Act Certificate
• Skills for office practitioners Certificate
• Email etiquette Certificate
