About Marthinus Janse van Rensburg:

As a specialist within ITLab, I was working on a client’s on-prem and Azure infrastructure over Christmas and New Year. He did a successful migration of client mailboxes from on-prem to Azure Could Services before the Business started operating for the new year ahead. Along with performing these migrations, I also supported decommissioning of on-prem servers and setup Endpoints environments in Azure. Additionally, I assisted with the transport roles setup in Azure to Mimecast and on-prem. I am energetic and proactive in what I do. Day or Night, My family is always first and the most important thing to me. My wife is my second in command, she stands by me as long as I support her she does the same for me.

Experience

As a Technical Lead, I'll be designing and maintaining Azure cloud solutions that are customized to meet our client needs. I use best practices and automation to make everything run smoothly and efficiently. Part of my job includes keeping an eye on cloud resources, updating them as needed, fixing any security issues, and documenting what I do.

Solid background in development or infrastructure engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep or Terraform.

Day-to-day, I work closely with the Technical Architect and other Azure experts to enhance our managed services, explore new technologies, and boost our automation capabilities. Communication is key since I'm working with both technical and non-technical folks to ensure everything is optimized for performance, cost, and scalability while staying compliant with industry standards.
