my role included liaising with all stakeholders, event/activation management, & marketing material production.

Account Manager Openfield Marketing At Openfield Marketing included the Development and Execution of approved strategy/events across a spectrum accounts - the Engen Youth Development Program, Vodacom, SA Rugby, Blitzbokke, The Super Hero Rugby Festival, and Engen Motorsport, etc.

The Engen Youth Development Programme (the Engen Knockout Challenge & Engen Champ of Champs) recently won the 2018 Sports Industry Development Program of the Year award. I was part of the team that developed the strategy for the client and was responsible for the entry submission.
Media Manager Ajax Cape Town At Ajax Cape Town Football Club, I worked in the marketing and communications department. I engaged at all levels of management at the Premier Soccer League (PSL), Sponsors, Media Partners, the City of Cape Town as well as local and international stakeholders daily. I was responsible for the conceptualization, planning and production of all the clubs marketing and branding material, as well as producing the CI.I. for the club.

Events included sponsorship launches, the Manchester United Club Tour of South Africa, sponsor launches and events, coaching clinics, open media days, conferences, supporters’ events and player engagements etc.

Venue Media Manager FIFA WORLD CUP South Africa LOC In 2009 I was appointed by FIFA as the Venue Media Manager at the CTICC and Cape Town Stadium for the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup Draw and the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup, South Africa respectively.

My role as the FIFA Venue Media Manager at the CTICC and the Cape Town Stadium entailed managing all media operations, including volunteers, suppliers, local and international media to ensure that the media centres operated in-line with the standards set by FIFA.
Media Manager WP Cricket I was appointed as the Venue Media Manager at Newlands Stadium for the SA v Engeland cricket test.

My role as the Venue Media Manager included managing all media operations including suppliers, local and international media, and to ensure that the media centre operated in line with the standards set by Cricket SA.
Media Manager Two Oceans Marathon NPC At the 2019 Two Oceans Marathon (TOM), I was responsible for managing media operations at all TOM events such as the TOM Expo, Gala Dinner, Media Conferences, Athlete Unveils,
and Event Media Operations.

I was published in the 50th edition of the TOM Magazine and am credited as the Senior Assistant Editor for the magazine.
Media PR Consultant Openfield Marketing As a freelance consultant for the 2019 Engen Knockout Challenge (EKOC), I was responsible for -
o Conceptualising, Development / Implementing event media strategy
o Managing marketing material production and media operations for the EKOC
o Conceptualization, design and production management of related sponsorship portfolio marketing material for related sponsorship accounts
o Research and produce media content for related sponsorship accounts
o Client and Media Liaison, and to develop and maintain key media relationships

Media Marketing Consultant FC Cape Town In 2015,
John Comitis (now the CEO of Cape Town City) engaged me as the Media Marketing Consultant at FC Cape Town.

During my time there, I played a role in securing sponsorship from Investec and the conceptualization of the Dream Club 100 project.

I was also responsible for all media operations and media marketing at FC Cape Town.
Event/Media Management Consultant, and Elite Athletes Manager Two Oceans Marathon My role included planning, implementing and managing media/social media content., revising the Two Oceans Marathon media, event and finish line protocols in line with that of the International Association of Ultrarunners. I also managed all the TOM Elite Athletes portfolio liaising with all stakeholders at local and international level.
