With 8 years of devoted involvement in the education sector, I am an experienced Content Developer and Learning Designer proficient in designing and managing curricula, crafting online educational materials, ensuring quality, and refining content. Over the past 2 years, I've successfully incorporated educational technology platforms and resources to amplify my efforts, ensuring alignment with both branding and curriculum objectives. Throughout my journey, I've embraced a dynamic range of roles within the education sector, showcasing my adaptability and understanding that each educational context demands a tailored approach. Presently, at Novakid, I combine my 8+ years of educational insight with LMS and AI tools for content creation, curriculum design, and project management. This process aligns content with brand identity and enhances learning. My project management skills are highlighted by leading B2B content development, and securing recurring contracts. Collaborating effectively with diverse teams to maintain consistent content quality is a staple. I aim to impart impactful education through innovative content strategies in the fast-paced edtech world.

Past roles underscore my adaptability, as I fulfilled roles from ESL teaching to academic management and curriculum development, each demanding different professional approaches. At Stafford House International and VGC International College, I realised the importance of tailoring teaching methods, lesson and curriculum planning and student support to suit individual needs, appreciating that every student and context requires a unique approach. My time at tertiary institutions, including the University of Northern British Columbia (CA) and North West University (RSA), indicate my range of skills that aid in my professional understanding of the educational context. There, I conducted historical and linguistic research, aided research processes, supported students in academic choices, and organised student activities. As a Writing Centre Consultant and Editor, I ensured written pieces' readiness for publication, assisting both undergraduates and graduates in meeting challenging deadlines. My tenure as high school teacher at Henley High and Preparatory School, Abbotts College and Destinata School provided poignant personal and professional lessons in catering to students with diverse needs and abilities. 

With an unwavering commitment to creating supportive and conducive learning environments, I have traversed the educational spectrum, valuing adaptability and customization as the linchpins of my pedagogical philosophy.

I possess a range of language abilities and content creation expertise, with a strong educational foundation. My tertiary education includes graduating from North West University with my BA Hons in Language at the top of my class and pursuing a Master of Arts in English from the University of Northern British Columbia where I'm currently completing my thesis. I also expanded my studies to learn about pedagogy and teaching by completing both a CELTA certification and a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education in Post-Secondary Education. I additionally earned certificates in Editing and Proofreading from Simon Fraser University, along with a Certificate in Marketing from the University of Calgary.
