I have a diverse work history in the financial sector, spanning from 2011 to present. My most recent position, from November 2022 to the present, is as a Short-Term Insurance Risk Adviser at Berghshire Wealth-Santam. My main responsibilities involve assessing the insurance needs of individuals and organisations and recommending insurance options that protect them from potential risks and losses. I negotiate with insurance providers to secure the best coverage and rates for my clients. Prior to this, I worked as a Commercial Insurance Broker at OUTsurance from January 2022 to November 2022. In this role, I managed my own portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses, focused on building my client base, and retaining existing business. I conducted a comprehensive risk evaluation for each client, provided solutions aligned with their needs, and offered ongoing support and service, including claims handling.

From September 2021 to December 2021, I worked as an Executive Financial Planner, as an independent contractor with 90 Degrees South, a Standard Bank Financial Constancy affiliate in Rosebank. My primary responsibility was to provide financial planning services to high net worth clients in collaboration with Private Bankers. I developed comprehensive financial plans, including investment advice, retirement planning, and risk management.

Before that, I worked as a Private Banker at First National Bank-Private Clients, Sandton, from September 2018 to May 2021. My primary responsibility was to manage and grow a portfolio of private banking clients, providing personalised banking and wealth management services. I built strong relationships with clients, developing an in-depth understanding of their financial goals and tailoring my solutions to meet their individual needs. In addition, I worked closely with other departments and divisions, such as WesBank and the Fiduciary department, to offer a comprehensive suite of services to clients.

From February 2018 to August 2018, I worked as a Financial Planner, as an independent contractor with Financial Advisory Capital, an Old Mutual Affiliate in Bryanston. I consulted with clients to determine their financial needs and goals, developed growth plans, produced financial needs analysis, and offered researched-based advice on strategies to meet clients' needs.

Before that, I worked as a Financial Planner at Discovery Limited, Sandton, from June 2016 to January 2018. In this role, I was accredited to give advice on all of Discovery's products, providing financial planning services to clients. I prospect for new clients, conducted evaluations of their financial situations, developed personalised financial plans to meet their needs, and implemented solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.

Finally, from August 2015 to May 2016, I worked as a Correspondence Consultant at Discovery Bank, Discovery Limited, Sandton. I was responsible for providing professional and timely written correspondence to credit card customers on behalf of the Discovery Card. I worked closely with the credit card division and other departments to ensure accurate and effective communication.

I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at Rhodes University in Makhanda (Grahamstown). I am current busy with my  Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning at Nelson Mandela University in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and I hope to complete by the end of the 2023

Additionally, I completed a Certificate Programme in Business Analysis: Business Analysis at Faculty Training Institute in Johannesburg in January 2022. 

In December 2012, I obtained an INSETA NATIONAL CERTIFICATE in Wealth Management NQF Level 5 (130 FAIS: Finance/Insurance). 

In December 2015, I completed the First Level Regulatory Exam: Representative (RE5) - Financial Services Board at Moonstone in Johannesburg.

Finally, I completed the First Level Regulatory Exam: Key Individuals (RE1) at Moonstone in Johannesburg in September 2021.  

My educational background started with the completion of Matric at Institute Status Acres in December 2005.
