I’m a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with nearly three years of post-articles leadership experience, including two years as a Client Service Executive and one year as an Assistant Manager in Assurance at Ernst & Young (EY). My experience encompasses audit, taxation, and financial reporting, where I’ve led teams, managed client engagements, and ensured compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and regulatory reporting standards.

My core focus lies in taxation, strengthened through extensive exposure while auditing tax sections during client engagements in Assurance. This has given me a solid understanding of corporate, trust, and individual income tax, as well as VAT calculations, submissions, and payroll tax (EMP501 reconciliations). In addition to my professional exposure, I manage my own personal income tax submissions and have successfully resolved tax disputes independently, demonstrating a strong practical grasp of SARS compliance processes and personal tax matters. While I am currently based in Assurance, I am looking to transition into a tax-focused role where I can apply and expand my technical knowledge and continue developing as a tax professional.

My financial management and accounting exposure comes from reviewing and testing financial statements, including management accounts, cash flow statements, and going-concern forecasts. I’ve also compiled service offering budgets and provided clients with financial insights—developing a well-rounded understanding of how tax, accounting, and business performance intersect.

• Lead and manage multiple client engagements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and ISAs.
• Review VAT reconciliations, tax provisions, and corporate tax computations as part of client service delivery.
