Hi, I’m Nigel Newkirk, an IT Support Administrator with over 20+ years of hands-on experience in desktop support, system administration, and network troubleshooting. I’ve worked with major organizations like Old Mutual Investment, City of Cape Town, and Metrorail, providing end-to-end technical solutions across both corporate and educational environments.I’m currently advancing my expertise in Cybersecurity, studying for CompTIA Security+ and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications. My passion is protecting systems, securing networks, and helping businesses strengthen their digital defenses.

I’m an IT Support & Cybersecurity Specialist with over 20+ years of experience in desktop support, system administration, and network troubleshooting. I’m now expanding into Cybersecurity, studying CompTIA Security+ and Ethical Hacking, and helping clients secure networks, protect data, and solve complex IT issues quickly and professionally.

I’m currently pursuing CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications to strengthen my cybersecurity expertise. I also hold extensive technical training in Microsoft Server Administration, Active Directory, Exchange Management, and Network Infrastructure from years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments.
