My academic background is informed by both health science and environmental science-related research. Moving forward, I wish to cultivate a professional career that is centred around the use of research to build informed, self-sufficient and sustainable communities within South Africa. I am passionate about finding ways in which we could use research findings to develop our communities by applying a community-specific interdisciplinary approach to development.
 

Experience

I’ve recently completed a Postdoctoral study that was focused on assessing changes in macroinvertebrate species diversity over time in light of climate change and land use practices within the Thukela River Basin.
