February 2022 - Golden Macadamias 

I am currently working for Golden Macadamias as a Graduate Commissioning Intern, i am part of commissioning team my duties include the following: 

  • We are commissioning a new factory/plant
  • Station readiness, machine verification, authorising the production into working condition
  • implementation of Lean Manufacturing Engineering, line balancing
  • Report on the department performance KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Review and analyse production performance to identify improvement opportunities 
  • Writing SOP’s
  • Clear understanding of system implementation from set-up stage

I am now started a new position as a Weighbridge operator, my duties are: 

  • Scanning and uploading of documents on to the system 
  • Weighing of incoming and outgoing trucks 
  • Answering incoming calls; taking messages
