• Project: Maintain Billing Percentage and Export CSV file to be imported into Oracle Financials. This project involved getting billing data for RTT clients and calculate billing according to the rates defined per client and then export information in the form of a csv file to Oracle Financials.

Reporting:

• Developed a wide range of reports in both the conventional manner and ALV format. Here are some of the skills I’ve harnessed in additional reporting functionality:
  • Secondary lists in popup widows.
  • Calling standard SAP transactions by double-clicking on SAP documents.
  • Dynamic updating of report fields initiated by clicking on a button on the report output.
  • Functionality to regenerate the report output via a refresh button.
  • Ability to email report output to selected users by clicking on a button.
  • Selection screen functionality to change selection screen field values by clicking on different radio buttons. 

Transaction Programming:

• System in WM to automate the warehouse process to ensure consistency between WM and IM. 
• System in SD to automate the shipping process (creation of deliveries, transfer orders and packing lists).
• System in SD/WM to mirror the SAP standard picking process for customer consignment stock at storage unit level that is consumed. 

Interfaces for data transfer (BDC’s, BAPI’s):

• Developed a strong ability in this area through extensive experience. Areas of application:
  • BAPIs to create and change purchase orders, sales orders and quotations.
  • BDC programs that perform various SAP transactions with appropriate interactive error handling. 
  • These programs have sourced their data from either the presentation server (via a spreadsheet), flat files on the application server or the SAP database itself. 

SAP Upgrade Project Work:

• Extensive work carried out on upgrade projects from 4.6c to 4.7. This involved maintenance of BDC programs, BAPIs, report selection screen fixes, accommodating changes to: SAP standard function module interfaces, SAP standard printing programs for layoutsets . Re-applying modifications to the standard system was included as well.

Internet Services:

• Internet Application enabling a consignment customer to view all stock currently on the way to him over the internet. The customer is then able to select the stock he has already received and save his selection to a custom built database. 

Enhancements, User Exits and BADI’s:

• User exits and BADI’s in MM, SD, FI and PS.
• Screen exits in PM on the notification transaction.

Smartforms:

• Development of new  Smartforms for Export documentation (Commercial Invoices, Shipping Instructions, Insurance Certificates and Quality Certificates).
• Automatic e-mailing and batch printing of the above forms.
• Conversion to PDF file format for Acrobat Reader display and print.
