I finished my final year of BCom Strategic Brand Management at Vega College in 2021 and intend to complete my honours degree in the same qualification part-time throughout 2022-2023. 

This degree groomed me for leadership positions in brand management and business strategy in a range of industries, both in developed and developing markets where we focused on the development of smart, original, and cohesive brand, business and management strategies that challenge the status quo. 

One of the most important things that stood out to me while doing my degree is that the media and technology are very fast-paced and ever-changing, so the industry and its people need to be quick to adapt and innovate to not only keep up with the trends but to become trendsetters within the industry. My goal is to develop my skills and insights to enable me to quickly identify trends and find solutions to such a level that I become an invaluable asset. 

I am a hardworking, driven individual with a passion for Brands and positive consumer experiences and relationships. I am a quick learner and remain teachable, constantly seeking improvement because I believe practice brings improvement, not perfection. I have good leadership and people skills. I found it very important to invest in these skills because I knew that I will be working with and managing people in the future and people are the backbone and core of every organisation. 

I strive to do everything with a spirit of excellence and not do anything half-heartedly. I always look for something to do and try to help out wherever I can. I am a creative problem solver and systems thinker with an eye for detail, especially when it comes to looking at a problem from different perspectives and putting myself in other people’s shoes. 

Vega College has a project called brand challenge wherein students are tasked with creating campaigns for real brands. I've had the privilege of taking part in such projects twice. I am also currently working as a customer support agent to help clients with any issues they may experience.
