I’m a seasoned copywriter, editor and SEO with over a decade of experience turning ideas, research and keywords, into engaging, search-friendly content that actually gets read. Since 2014, I’ve written for more than a hundred South African and international brands, producing everything from snappy social posts to SEO-rich blogs and long-form guides. Along the way, agencies affectionately nicknamed me “the machine” for my ability to write creative, credible content at scale (long before AI joined the writing party). I am in my element when I am doing research, I love dissecting data, and I take just the right amount of pride in writing content that’s genuinely enjoyable. Experience

For more than a decade, I have been scribbling web content, blogs (long form and short), product descriptions, guides, itineraries, press releases, news articles, SEO copy, SEO metas and titles, emails, newsletters, social media posts, and much more. I have also trained SEO writers, and I have edited text until I was so tired of reading that I stopped picking up my favourite Terry Pratchett novels for a while.

When I stop to think about it, since 2014, I have probably written for well over 100 South African and international companies, mostly through SEO agencies, who, in my early days as a writer, dubbed me “the machine” (which is funny, now that we have actual machines, AI, helping us to speed up the writing process).

Education

I have a BA in Communication Science, with a focus on business communication and media, from the University of South Africa, and I am currently completing a certificate in data analysis.
