Lehlohonolo Masiza

I am a BSc in Geology and Environmental & Geographical Sciences graduate at UCT. During my study at UCT I learned about the formation of ore deposits and their location, geological mapping, structural geology, sustainable mining, climate change and ESG. I have a 1-month work experience in digital finance I acquired at CFTE Global Fintech internship program, and a client services experience as I worked as a part-time Internet analyst at APPEN. I recently participated in the Oliver Wyman Case Competition. I was part of Standard Bank Virtual Experience Programme and the BCG Strategy Consulting Virtual Experience Program. During the CFTE internship we did a case study for ONFIDO, about how identity is being verified and authenticated in the insurance industry in the UK using technology, and at APPEN I provide data evaluation services to APPEN`s clients. During the Standard Bank Virtual Experience Programme and the BCG Strategy Consulting Virtual Experience Program, I got exposed to solving problems that employees at Standard Bank and BCG get to solve. I have completed courses on accounting fundamentals, Corporate Finance Fundamentals, Excel Fundamentals-Formulas for Finance, Reading Financial Statements and Professional Ethics through the Corporate Finance Institute.
