Experience

Responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of administrative processes & corporate governance are both promoted and maintained, so that the business operates efficiently & in accordance with all statutory provisions.  
Understanding and implementing the recent legislated beneficial ownership requirements, in addition to this the Section 32 and 84(4) of PAIA across all our sectors. 

Duties: Responsible for all company secretarial functions, duties and responsibilities. Organizing, preparing agendas for, and taking minutes of board meetings. Monitoring changes in the business legislative and regulatory environment. Providing advice to colleagues and senior managers on administrative matters. Maintaining statutory books i.e. registers of members, directors and secretaries. Dealing with FIC & KYC correspondence. Developing & implementing admin policies & procedures to improve efficiency. Involved in the creation of new companies and stuctures.  Liaising with external regulators, lawyers and auditors. Maintaining all statutory registers and updating Greatsoft. Drafting minutes within set timeframes. Reporting in a timely & accurate manner on company procedures & developments. Ensuring the company complies with standard legal practice and maintains standards of corporate governance.

Education

Attending various seminars, webinars and workshop around the implementation of FIC, beneficial ownership and Information Regulator.  In addition to this, understanding the changes which are currently taking place with the Companies Act. 
I have recently also looked into the completing a Diploma in Corporate Law as I find this avenue immensely interesting.
