Lauren is an admitted attorney, notary and conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa and registered tax practitioner, with more than 5 years post-articles experience. She has gained legal, compliance and tax advisery experience at a commercial law firm, audit firm and a boutique cross border practice. An addition to performing legal and tax advisery services, Lauren has extensive knowledge in legal operations. 

Lauren has a broad range of legal, tax and legal operations related experience. She completed her articles and began her post-articles career at a commercial legal practice. She thereafter joined an audit firm as an internal technical tax and legal adviser, where she provided technical tax advice, drafted and finaled commercial agreements, attended to company secretarial requirements and performed the role of data privacy champion. After relocating to an agricultural district, from where she currently works remotely, she joined a cross-border boutique tax and legal firm. In addition to providing legal and tax-related advice, she has implemented their AML policies and procedures and runs the business' operations. 

Lauren holds a LLB (cum laude) from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and is currency persuing a Master of Commerce in Tax.
