Khanya Mvume

Khanya is a fluid individual with an eagerness to reach great heights professionally. I am goal driven and hardworking individual. I am an all-rounded individual who has adequate exposure and understanding of what the corporate environment requires of one, to make an excellence of. It is with my organisational skills and commitment to unwavering professional conduct in every task I undertake that makes me an individual of relevance. My career objective is to employ my academic knowledge to gain valuable work experience and add value to the organisation. I seek to explore professional growth in accommodating work spaces and make a fruitful impact through my work.

Overall.

I am currently part of the Finance Department at Mnquma Local Municipality that achieved a clean Audit during the 2021/2022 Financial year, some of my contribution is summerized below

• Assisted in the preparation of GRAP compliant Annual Financial Statements for the 2021-2022 Financial Year.
• Participated in the asset management team so that policies and procedures are adhered to including all PPE related GRAP standards.
• I ensured that all registers reconciled with the general ledger for all PPE related information to be fairly present to the Annual Financial Statements.
• I ensured that such information is made readily available for Auditor General at year end as well as assisting in the team with Auditor General for all PPE related audit queries. 

I am currently pursuing my Honors Degree in Internal Auditing with Nelson Mandela University.

I hold a Diploma in Accounting and a Btech in Internal Auditing, both achieved at Walter Sisulu University.
