Profile 

Kgaugelo, as he is known, started his professional career in early 1997.  Since then he has been specializing in Industrial Relations (Human Resources), working for Telkom, Mbileni Tohlang Attorneys, Scorpion Legal Protection, National Union of Metal workers of South Africa, Prestige Group and Powertech Transformers. During this time, he has gained excellent all-round IR expertise as well as dealing at a strategic level.  His skills extend over the full IR Value chain i.e. disciplinary and grievance hearings, training and development, Employment Equity, CCMA and Bargaining Councils representation at Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration level as well as Labour Court litigation and union negotiations.

As a General Manager Industrial Relations at Prestige Group was instrumental in overseeing all labour related issues. As a Regional Legal Officer within NUMSA he gained extensive experience in a unionized environment as well as in his previous positions at Scorpion Legal Protection, Mbileni Tohlang Attorneys and Telkom. He was a Manager Industrial Relations at Powertech Transformers and overseeing all labour related issues within the group. Kgaugelo was a Legal Advisor Employment Law and Relations within Human Capital at Auditor General of South Africa. Kgaugelo is currently an Operations Director at Optimiza Consultancy (Pty) Ltd and a Shareholder.

He was a member of Bid Evaluation Committee of the National Tender Committee as well as a Health and Safety Representative of the Auditor General of South Africa. He is also a member of Institute of People Management and a member of the professional body called South African Board of People Practices.
