I am a hard working, self taught Digital Transformation Specialist with a background in Maths Education. I have served the Education department for 13 years starting as a teaching to eventually leading the whole Western Cape Province in Special Projects on Innovation. I have built reporting tools using the Google ecosystem and applications to manage education. I work now at a company which is a Google Partner focussing on Higher Education Institutions across the continent of Africa. I manage the paid products and developing new business in Anglophone Countries. I have been in the role for 18 months and I have an above average skill at spreadsheets. I am passionate about people and effective at communicating. I work well under pressure and I have a great network in government.

From 2008 till 2017, I spent 6 years as a teacher, 3 years as the Head of Maths Department at Bellville Technical High School. I got a promtion and became an eLearning Advisor from 2018 - 2020 and then Head of Innovation and Special Projects for the province from 2020 until 2022 in the Western Cape Education Department. I am currently working at CloudEDU, in a small team and I manage the paid products, T&L and Plus, and I increase the urgency of institutions transforming using the advanced digital tools. I have presented at international eLeaning conference focusing on Workspace integration into curriculum. I am a certified trainer who understands the Google Ecosystem and I collaborate well with other partners.

I hold an Honours Degree in Mathematics Education, Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Bachelor of Science Degree. I obtained these at the university of the Western Cape
