I am an accomplished graduate of Mechanical Engineering with an Honours degree from the University of Pretoria. I have a great passion for engineering, mathematics and developing technical solutions. I am well trained in advanced mathematical techniques that are widely applied in data analytics such as regression modelling, frequency domain analysis and statistics, and tools used in machine learning such as gradient-based optimisation and have some experience applying these concepts to real-world problems. I am seeking to leverage these and my other skills to pivot my career into data scientist/engineer roles.

I hold a bachelor of engineering honours in mechanical engineering with a strong focus on mathematical/statistical analysis from the University of Pretoria with core subjects numerical methods, gradient-based optimisation methods and vibration data analysis for failure prediction.I also am completing an online course on data science using python and sql
