Furthermore a junior/intermediate SQL DBA equipped with hands-on experience in looking after

Responsibilities:
o Installed Microsoft SQL server and configured it to use it and also performed uninstalls 
when requested.
o Created new databases on test environment, 
o On test environment I was responsible for granting access to users on objects with 
minimal access using security groups instead of individual access, that is type of 
permissions users are given (view, read, modify).
o I have been monitoring database performance using the Ola Hallengren scripts for 
checking disc space, CPU usage, Memory, locks, newly created database and those 
without backup, deleted databases as well and until the company used Solarwinds for 
monitoring and creating the reports
o Troubleshooting issues/queries that arises on test environment in a form of an email or 
phone call else I would escalate to senior DBA.
o Rebooting SQL server nodes on availability groups after hours to allow patches to go 
through.
o Review SQL Server error logs for any unexpected errors, warnings of bad performance or 
security issues.
o Monitored SQL server agent jobs, troubleshoot and or report those that might have 
failed.
