I am an online English and ESL teacher with 14 years of experience. I have taught all ages from 3 years old to adults, including all levels and abilities. I have worked internationally at English Training schools as well as locally and online. My background is in education, but I have also worked with students with learning disabilities and older adults in a virtual care position. I have a passion for teaching English and believe each student has the ability and potential to reach their goals. English is the number one most spoken language in the world, and having this skill opens doors to studying, travelling and working abroad in the future. I have helped many students over the years, and will meet you at the level you are at! I would like to be part of that journey with professional, fun, and interesting online classes.

Experience

I began my career in teaching right out of school. I taught young children at schools, gaining experience in the teaching field. I then moved on to studying a Bachelor of Education in foundation phase at the University of South Africa (UNISA). During this time, I went to teach English as a second language in China, at English Training Centers such as EF English First. I gained incredible experience during this time, teaching English to children and adults of all ages and levels. Many of the students were doctors, engineers, lawyers, and business owners. Some, went on to study overseas at English universities and schools. I then got into online teaching, which is what I love most. I create fantastic tailored and professional classes or one-on-one sessions where I assist students in preparing from exams, tests, competitions, school work and so on.
