Family:
I am blessed with a big family! Both my parents are remarried and I have a younger brother who is also married to the best sister-in-law anyone could ask for! Then, with my parents being remarried, I have 3 step-brothers and 2 step-sisters.
I am divorced and my two babies are my dogs, Tommie and Nonnie. Tommie is a little mama’s boy and Nonnie was adopted in 2020 after she was attacked by a Pitbull. She was left blind, which was a challenge when we got home as I had to teach her how to adapt to being blind. Now I'm one very proud mom as she is an independent, cheeky little girl maneuvering all over the house herself.

- Managerial (4 years and 10 months)
- Deputy Payroll Manager (Isle of Man - UK) - 2 years.
- International Training Team Leader - 2 years and 7 months.
- HR Officer - Managed Receptionist - 3 months.
- Training (10 years)
- Appointed to create, launch and manage the International Training Department for Sage Pastel Payroll & HR.
- Opened and managed Authorized Training Centers in strategic places across Africa to generate additional income and reduce expenses.
- Did everything from A to Z with regards to all relevant functions in a Training Department at first until trainers and content writer were employed later on.
- Was appointed as Internal Developer where I was responsible for the employee and career development for new and existing employees. My duties were to create the relevant training content and where applicable, assessments for induction, soft skills, software product certification, knowledge gaps and annual recertification.
- Human Resources (10 Years)
- Assisted customers (200+) with different company sizes (max 46 000 employees), from various industries e.g., manufacturing, medical, IT, etc. with regards to all Human Resources processes and procedures. Main focus areas where processes were implemented, streamlined, supported, consulted, guided and trained on were:
- Payroll (12 years)
- Processing of salaries and wages, reconciling, reporting and payments to employees, statutory bodies, and third parties.
- Statutory reporting and submissions e.g. tax.
- Assisted customers with payroll implementations, , payroll processing, streamlining processes, ensuring they comply with legislation, statutory submissions, system audits, and identifying fraud.
- Project Management (8 years)
- Determine goals and objectives of project and create project charter.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to allocate duties and set timelines.
- Design, track, maintain and distribute project plan to all stakeholders.
- Conduct frequent project update meetings to give feedback to senior management, resolve queries, and ensure project stays on track.
- Monitor hours spent vs what was quoted and take action accordingly if signed off hours aren't sufficient.
- Conduct project closure meeting and provide sign-off document to close the project.
- Consulting (4 years)
- Payroll and Human Resources software consultant.
Achievements:
- Appointed to create, launch and manage the International Training Department for Sage Pastel Payroll & HR.
- Opened and managed Authorized Training Centers in strategic places across Africa to generate additional income and reduce expenses.
- The largest Sage 300 People HR customer with 46 000+ employees was allocated to me to assist with all components of their Human Resources department.
- Was made Project Lead on 3 of the 6 projects when the new Centre of Excellence department was created.
- Picked up irregularities at customer, did system audit and identified thousands of Rands of payroll fraud committed by the Payroll Administrator.
- Collaborated with development and designed a new streamlined internal system at Sanzar Solutions.
- Presented roadshows in various countries to business partners, customers, and ministers.
- Within 1 year worked my way up at Sanzar Solutions from an Administrator to Deputy Payroll Manager.
- During our previous retrenchment process, I got headhunted and was offered 3 times my cost to company, which my company countered to keep me.
Education
I have a hunger to learn and have always been trying to better myself where I had the opportunity.
- I matriculated in 2004.
