I am writing to apply for the Admin clerk as advertised on Dante Personnel’s website. With my experience in Administration, Accounting and Finance , I believe I am the perfect candidate for this role.
I have been working in the accounting/finance and administration department of public schools and private sector for more than 20 years. During my time at Optimed, Laerskool Elandia and Hoërskool Dinamika, I have gained valuable experience in many key areas, including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, bank recons, general ledger entries, reception, client liason and general administration. I am also experienced in managing multiple phone lines and handling high volume calls professionally and efficiently. In the absence of the secretary, I was responsible for the maintenance of office equipment (photo copy machine, intercom and switchboard) and buying stationery and refreshments for the staff. I have developed strong problem-solving skills and am comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
I am proficient in office organisation, business administration, recordkeeping, budget management, facility management, document control and human resource support
I am highly proficient in the use of various accounting and finance software, Microsoft Office(Word, Excell, Powerpoint, Outlook), Sage Pastel Accounting, SA-SAMS and D6-School Software
I am confident that I would be an asset to your team. I am a motivated and organized individual who is committed to providing excellent customer service. I am able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.
