I am a versatile biotechnology graduate with laboratory experience providing outstanding and extensive research skills, a comprehensive knowledge of all biotechnology fields with an operational dexterity in a fast-paced laboratory environment. I can thrive in high pressure conditions while demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills by quickly attending to the problem and generating effective solutions. I’m always seeking opportunities where I am able to learn, grow and absorb information. Experience
As a medical lab administrator, I am responsible for receiving patients’ specimens, inputting and capturing data pertaining to a patient’s personal details and a patient’s diagnosis and delivering the patients specimens to the respective labs . I also receive orders from doctors over the phone and communicate with patients regarding their tests or medical aid options and coordinate efficient patient specimen collection based on proper prioritization (STAT,P1). Other duties include answering questions about the lab, test requirements, and results, filing lab copies of reports, data entry, and following all lab safety rules while reporting hazards to your supervisor. Your responsibilities also include maintaining inventory, preparing orders for lab supplies, and arranging courier services and package transportation for special batch test samples.
