Jolene Wade

I am a career orientated person who enjoys a challenge and has fun doing it. I have been in retail for about 16 years in various sectors where I have learnt a wealth of information from which I have grown and become successful. I am a people person and truly love meeting new cultures and personalities while providing excellent customer service. Because I am also extremely creative I strive to create a space which is both interesting and appealing to be in. I feel I am a good leader and by only working as a team can you succeed as a store and make your target, which to me is the ultimate prize.

I have been extremely lucky to work in many different kinds of stores with their own identities, that have provided me with insight into various selling techniques and store management. I have been approached and pursued multiple roles, moving up the ladder in store management. My strongest motivation for success is being passionate about your product, your role and your drive.  

Although I studied jewellery design and manufacture I feel their were many aspects I have applied to my work in retail. I learnt to deal with clients and their complaints. I studied business management as part of my course. And of course the creativity that comes with design can applied in many roles especially in apparel.
