Summary of my academic achievements and current working environment: 

More than 8 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry, as well as extensive knowledge of in-house and on-site customer support and system analysis for various major corporations. Strong background in Computer hardware installation, support documentation, troubleshooting & diagnostics, configuring and maintaining entire computer system hardware, and software, and maintaining camera systems.

My Current essential duties at UKZN are as follows: 

• Control lab consumables, maintain technical configuration documentation, improve proactive maintenance routines and documentation, and ensure an accurate record of assets. 
• Improve user satisfaction of lab experience, ensure the proper functioning of the labs and ensure the hardware is maintained and is in proper working order, ensure practical’s viability, 
• Minimize the number of “problems” practicals, minimize lab downtime, 
• Minimize the number of faulty lab workstations in service. 
• Reduce software/hardware failure resolution time. 
• Perform rollouts, and upgrades of servers, workstations, network solutions, and equipment as necessary.
•  Assist with team projects. 
• Provide technical computing support to undergrad students in labs, academic staff, honors, and research/postgraduate students.

 Provide resolutions, constructive advice, and/or alternatives to problems – leading to timeous resolution of issues.
