Jessica Martheze

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Jessica Martheze. I am writing to you to express my interest in the spice product development vacancy. I have graduated with a diploma in Consumer Sciences: Food and Nutrition from CPUT.

I am dedicated, hardworking and enthusiastic with a strong passion for food. During my studies I undertook a range of relevant modules within the food industry. In addition I also spent 7 months within the development department in Bowman Ingredients South Africa , helping to take products through from concept to launch. I am creative, experienced in working to deadlines and have also had experience of dealing with some UK companies.

I may not have a lot of experience but I am willing to put in the work required of me as well as also seizing an opportunity when it shows itself. I am a very determined person as proven by the fact that I graduated during a pandemic where I have shown that I can easily adapt to situations and work under pressure without any problems. 

My passion has always been with food development and has always been my dream job that I have strived to achieve.

Reasons why I believe I would be a good fit for your company is because I am hard working and determined, I am also a quick study and good at working within a team but individually as well. I am both a creative and anaylitical person in that I want the challenge of creating new products but also with logical reasoning of staying within the customers brief or budget. I firmally believe in trying to bring a positive attitude into the work space.

I have decided to part time continue my studies to allow myself to learn more then I already know.
