Jessica James

With 4+ years of experience in Occupational Therapy, the bulk of which is in paediatrics, I have a strong understanding of the needs of children with autism spectrum disorder and Developmental Delays. I have personally provided therapy for children with hearing impairments, mental health disabilities, behaviour difficulties, down syndrome, allergies, asthma, ADHD, diabetes and epilepsy and genetic disorders. My passion for helping children and empowering them to thrive, as well as my goal to educate others and equip them, makes me a great fit for this position.

I have assisted children in the classroom, home, therapy rooms and hospital environment. I am experienced working with varied family units and have been able to build rapport, professional relationships, and trust with them, 

In addition to my experience as an Occupational Therapist, I have experience as a Second Language English teacher to children as young as 2 years old, and locum experience working with children as a day care assistant, holiday care teacher, and babysitter. These experiences have provided me with the skills necessary for the role advertised.

I am dedicated to personal and professional development and am committed to continuously improving my performance in my role. I am open to pursuing any training or educational opportunities that will enhance my ability to excel in my job.

I am using an immigration consultant that covers the cost of the LMIA and work permit. I just require a job offer for the work permit process.
