Jason Naicker

I’m a data and technology leader with 20 years of experience helping organisations use information intelligently. My work sits at the intersection of data strategy, product development, and digital transformation - designing systems that optimise processes and turn insight into action. 

I’ve led global, remote, diverse teams of technical and commercial associates. I've built data products from concept to launch, and advised C-suite executives on how to make data a competitive asset. 

What drives me is creating clarity in complex systems,  building tools that make people and businesses smarter, and building teams that leverage employees' diverse skills to create a multiplier effect.

I have over 20 years of experience leading data, product, and technology initiatives across Africa and the Middle East. 

My career spans startups, global consultancies, and Fortune 500 clients. I have a strong technical background (having worked as an Analyst, Data Scientist, and Data Engineer), but began my career as a consultant, providing data and analytics strategic advisory at a global level.

I have managed both Technology and Commercial associates, and have received commendations for my team-building and development. With my general technical background and commercial experience, I can manage large, diverse teams and act as the facilitator between the different ways of thinking, both at a team and organisation level.

• an MBA from The Gordon Institute of Business Studies
• a PgDip in HR Management from the University of Cape Town

a BSc from the university of Cape Town.

I began programming when I was in Primary School and have an inherent understanding of how Data translates to the real world, and vice-versa.

I maintain an attitude of continuous learning and upskill myself via self-learning, most recently becoming familiar with cloud systems with experience in AWS and GCP
