Jarrod Beukes

I am a counselling psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) since 2011. I am currently employed as the programme manager for psychology at Eduvos (formerly the Pearson Institute of Higher Education, PIHE). Previously, I was also employed at the same organisation as a regional psychologist, psychology lecturer and module developer. Throughout the years I have gained steadily increasing experience in tertiary education along with various aspects in terms of the provision of psychological interventions. I am currently seeking opportunities in sectors where I can broaden my experiences within Tertiary Education as well as other sectors related to the practice of Psychology.

• 2010: Masters in Counselling Psychology at the University of Johannesburg (cum laude).
• 2006: Bachelor of Social Science Degree with Honours in Social Work from the University of Fort Hare (East London), formerly Rhodes University (East London) with distinction.
• 2005: Bachelor of Social Science Degree with Honours in Psychology at Rhodes University (Grahamstown) with distinction.
• 2004: Bachelor of Social Science Degree at Rhodes University (East London) with distinction in Psychology & Social Work.
• 2003: Attained membership to the Golden Key International Honours Society.
• 2001: Matriculation from Selborne College (East London) with academic and sporting (cricket) colours.
