3. Assisting the Recovery Room Nurse to apply initial monitoring devices post operation; assisting in the preparation of the PACU (Post Anaesthesia Care Unit) and checking of the Emergency trolley and defibrillator
4. Assisting management: Shift leader roles, staff allocation for next day’s list, staff off duties planning for the month, etc.
5. Robotic surgery for abdominal procedures (Da Vinci) and knee replacements (Rosa Zimmer)
6. Competent in the below disciplines:
• General surgery
• Plastic and Reconstructive surgery
• Maxillo-Facial surgery
• Gynaecological surgery
• Ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery
• Urological surgery
• Orthopaedic surgery
• Neurological surgery

7. CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department)
Key responsibilities and roles:
1. Continuously deliver safe quality patient care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team in accordance with the set theatre standards.
2. Ensure effective pre-operative preparation for an allocated theatre list.
3. Safe, holistic care intra-operatively in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
4. Post-operative hand-over of patients as well as decontamination processes in theatre / CSSD in preparation for the next patient.
5. Adhere to infection prevention and control principles in order to mitigate clinical risks.
6. Ensure optimal utilization of equipment
