Gemma Kent-Brown

I would describe myself as a target driven, team-oriented, motivated and determined, hard working, innovative, knowledgeable individual who aims for perfection in everything I do. I strive for high quality work that is completed in a time efficient manner and I make sure to always complete my deadlines on time. I am a problem solver who maintains organization and time management at all times. I am a fast learner and when I am unsure of something I will always ask and ensure that I admit when I have made a mistake. I am eager to learn more and upskill myself within a working environment whereby there is room for and opportunities for growth and financial success.

I am a driven and motivated young woman with an extensive background in psychology and communications. In my matric year I obtained a matric with five distinctions in my subjects and I was in the top ten academic performers of my matric year.
I have completed a three year Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and communications from 2019 until 2021 whereby I obtained an immense amount of theoretical knowledge regarding people, personality styles, the science of cognition, interpersonal social relationships and much more, as well as how to conduct qualitative and quantitative research and the practice of data analysis when I completed my dissertation during my honors year in 2022. My background in communications has also provided me with a considerable amount of knowledge on the topic of marketing, the art of persuasive communication when it comes to marketing and advertising, marketing techniques and the communication process. In my free time, I also completed and obtained a TEFL certificate and a first aid certificate. Currently, I am completing my post graduate certificate in education senior phase and FET phase part time online in the evenings. I have volunteered at Valkenburg psychiatric hospital, for VC Cares and for Christine Revell Children's Home. I am currently finishing my post graduate certificate in education part time online.
