About Hensula Lennert:
I used to work at Danie Ackermann Primary School as a Finance Officer, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to resign. I had to look after my sickly mother who passed away two years ago. Since then, I was doing temporary assignments as a receptionist or administrator through Merand and Corbett Associates and Helderberg Personnel. The temporary assignments are very scarce, I am looking for something permanent.
I am a powerful communicator, professional, friendly, polite, accurate, trustworthy and a lady with integrity. Eye for details, I meet my deadlines. Great team player and can work independently.
Microsoft office (covered all topics) Internet, Outlook. Word, Exell, Pastel (beginners).
I like Ballroom dancing, Latin American dancing and Hiking.
Experience
After matric, I have done some computer courses at Damelin and South Cape College as well as Boland College.
My first job was as a Shop Assistant/Cashier at the Clicks Group.
I left Clicks and got a job as an administrative clerk at Absa Bank in George. I have done the cheque accounts of the clients in George, like opening and closing accounts. Doing stop payments. Sending out bank statements. Handled queries from other branches. I got transferred to Absa Corporate bank in Cape Town, where I have reconciled Pick ‘n Pay’s Head offices figures in South Africa. I felt pregnant and the trains were very unstable, so I decided to stay at home and look after my son.
After two years, my son and I needed stimulation, so I decided to get into the market again.
As I was job hunting, I stumbled upon a stable job as a Financial Officer, at Danie Ackermann Primary School, Western Cape Education Department. I had to deal with all money related matters of the school. Handled school fees, fundraising money and banked it. Do the cashbook and petty cash. Draw up the budget with the principal and the treasurer. Done the quarterly report for the Western Cape Education Department. The external auditor and I did the Yearend report. I implemented SARS, PAYE as I was doing the salaries of the governing body staff. I implemented a solid filing system and EFT. I also relieved the Secretary when she was not available. A part of my day's job was to assist her with her work. Then the time came that I had to resign.
I was job hunting again and got a job at Somerset Mechanical Centre. The company liquidated after six months.
After the school I have done the temporary assignments at Merand and Corbett and Helderberg Personnel as front desk receptionist and administrator. Some of the jobs were contracts for months. The Agencies sent me to different companies and Head Offices to do temp assignments as Front Desk Receptionist or Administrator. Companies such as Rola Toyota, Mazda, Honda, Volvo, Helderberg BMW, Donford BMW, Mercedes Benz, Cape Plumbing and bathrooms, Vergelegen Wine Estate, Parmalat etc.
Temp assignments through Helderberg Personnel. WIETA: Wine and Agricultural Ethical Trading Accociations. Debtors Clerk Calling debtors to remind of payment in arrears. Etc. Magson Marine: Receptionist and administrator.
Chery International was my last part time job of three months in the automotive industry.
I was a receptionist/administrator. I have learned to work on the EVOLVE SYSTEM and do other ad hoc duties.
Education
I have done my Matric at Pacaltsdorp Secondary School. The town is in George. (PREFECT)
My subject are as follows: Afrikaans, English, Business Economics, Biology, Mathematics and Acountancy
