I am a 35 year old man with 15 years experience as a red seal electrician. I have knowledge of PLC programming and fault finding. I mainly work on the maintenance of large machinery. I have low and high voltage knowledge. 

• Installation and commissioning of various variable frequency drives namely Siemens, ABB, Danfoss, Allenbradly and Yaskawa. Be able to use to commission drives and set them up for proper and efficient use in various applications. Also able to tune PID loops, set up current limits, ramp up/down times, inputs, safety circuits  according to application and type of drive that is used. For example I installed a few drives on old machinery where there was no drive and spare parts was absolute. Modified machine to work with drives. One such example was on a inline silicone system where they used DC drives. Motors was expensive so we decided to use 0.75kw drive and motor. 
• Troubleshooting and reading of PLC programs. Can also program PLC’s. have experience with following PLC brands namely ABB, Siemens, Moeller, Phoenix contact Interbus, Bernecker and Rainer (B&R).
• Maintenance, repair, refurbishment on following Printing presses, Mailroom, bindery and packaging equipment. Worked on KBA, M.A.N and Heidelberg printing presses both coldset and heatset. Have experience with LPG gas dryers/ovens (Megtec), Packaging machines include Starpak and Acepak shrinktunnels. Mailroom equipment includes Muller Martini, Kolbus, Nordson glueing systems.
• Safety control loops both hardwired and software according to international/national standards, which includes gas ovens, electrical reticulation and high speed machinery.
• Electronics, more specifically embedded systems. Can program them and build circuits for example using a Arduino Uno to run a DC motor for a conveyor belt sander.
• Installation of electrical equipment which includes single phase and three phase.
• Troubleshooting on refrigeration systems for example Water chilling plants, ammonium compressors for blast freezers (3-month contract at sovereign foods), Air compressors which includes Atlas Copco and CAT.
• Use of instruments to troubleshoot which includes oscilloscopes, multi-meters, phase ration meters, insulation meters, Circuit analysers, CT’s and PT’s
• Proficient with Microsoft office, Visual basic and other computer related programs. Computer literacy is excellent as I use them on a daily basis to do troubleshooting on control systems. For example, we used a program IPS.CMD that was used to do diagnostics on the Interbus Field bus system (Phoenix contact)
