Dear Sir/Madam

 

I have been working withing the Mining Industry for a numerous amount of years starting in 2003.

Here I was employed for Goldfields Mine and worked in the role of Contracts Administrator, whereas I obtained my first exposure to the Human Resource sector.  I immediately fell in love with the culture and the discipline.  I obtained a certificate through Vaal University in Labour Relations and 2005 and also were appointed in an acting position for HR Officer within the Labour department at Goldfields.

Later on I also got exposure to the recruitment sector where I was appointed as Recruitment Administrator and Personal Assistant to the Senior Recruitment and Assessment Manager at Lonmin Platinum.

Mainly from there on I was employed by Contractor Companies within various mines where I got exposure to Glencore, Anglo Platinum, Impala and now currently Sibanye.

Whilst employed at Impala as in the role of Senior HR Officer for a contracting company where I was responsible for all HR related factors on 3 different shafts with a compliment of over 200 employees and 3 administrators reporting to me. 

Although I was appointed as Site Administrator when working for Evenspec Engineering and currently for G&K Construction, I do manage and oversee all the HR related factors of my site. 

I am responsible for the payroll, daily/weekly/monthly attendance, disciplinary actions, on-boarding etc.

In 2022 I did a diploma through Alison Academy for Human Resource Management as well as Office Management, although this is not an acclaimed qualification or recognized NQF. 

I might not have been fortunate enough to obtain an acclaimed qualification due to financial situations, but I have learned and used all my knowledge I have obtained through the years to develop myself within this field and can with absolute guarantee ensure that I am a focused individual that takes every task very seriously in order to ensure satisfaction from my employer. I am always willing to learn more and soak in all the exposure to ensure that I can be the best employee.

When given a chance I will further my education and obtain all qualifications required within a role such as this.  All I have to offer currently is years of experience for which I am absolutely grateful for.  And when given a chance, I can state in all honesty that I will excel to the fullest extend.
