Goodwill Mokoka is a Omni disciplinary visionary, a self-developed visual artist, designer, and systems developer whose career epitomizes innovation and relentless ambition. Beginning as a design intern at South Africa’s esteemed SL Magazine (Intelligence Publishing) in 2007, he swiftly ascended to craft compelling visuals for HYPE Magazine and GEAR Magazine, laying the groundwork for a dynamic freelance career. His creative prowess attracted global giants like Nike and Puma, while his New York ventures saw him art-directing for leading American musical acts, cementing his reputation as a cross-continental storyteller.

A pivot into film and TV production, marked by conceptual work for SABC broadcasts, showcased his adaptability, yet his artistic roots remained central. In 2016, he founded Studio Taki, an avant-garde multidisciplinary studio that redefined his trajectory. Within its launch year, the studio claimed victory at Google’s Startup Innovation Hub (Pretoria), igniting a streak of industry accolades: Design Indaba Emerging Creative (2017), FNB Joburg Art Fair Emerging Artist (2018), and dual RO Guiltless Plastic Prizes at Milan Design Week (2019, 2023).
