Cape Town born Gisela Calitz is a retoucher renowned for her work both behind and in front of the camera. Having many years of work in the industry under her belt, she has extensive knowledge of her trade.

Working on celebrity portraits with the likes of Ian McKellen, Sienna Miller, Solange Knowles, Arnold Vosloo, Nelson Mandela and Kate Moss, Gisela continues to strive for excellence in all that she touches.

Experience

I am a high-end fashion, advertising, portrait, pack shot, e-commerce and beauty retoucher. Having 11 years of experience under my belt. I am proficient and precise in my approach with extensive knowledge of my trade.

My skills include resizing, restoration, retouching and enhancements, filters, effects, background removal, manipulation and compositing.

I will be able to provide any image file, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF or any other specified format needed. I am proficient in Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Capture One Pro and Lightroom using plug-ins such as Portraiture, Alien Skin and Nik Software where needed.

I am confident in my ability to solve any problem and challenge provided during the retouching process and would give advice on what I would need in order to get the best results possible.
