Gideon Nieuwoudt

I am the youngest of two children. I have an older
sister. She is a teacher.
I am very enthusiastic about my course and future
career plans.
My work testifies of proud, dedication and hard work.
The reason why I want to study agriculture is that new
technologies are being tested therefore it is a
challenging profession.

I have work on a farm as a driver for a farmer. My other experience comes from working in a green house where we ran experiments on horticulture practices as well as other experiments such as running a permaculture plot as part off a team of students.

My education is in agronomy and  soil science. I have studied how to manage pests and disease also how soil works as well as the nutrients within the soil. I also have excessive experience with soil mapping and mapping programs.
